| Pitster Pro - We could go on for days about how much we love Pitster Pro, but we'll try to limit it to a paragraph. Pitster has been around since the beginning and has always had "top quality" on its mind. In the early years (in our opinion) the Pitster Bikes were less than desirable but Pitster was committed to quality and being a step ahead and quickly became the number 1 Pit Bike Company out of China. They have a reputation for having race ready bikes out of the crate. We love Pitster because of how they crate their bikes, they are the best packaged bikes in the industry in our opinion. We also love the fact we almost NEVER have to file a warranty claim on their products. If we do have to file a claim, Pitster is all over making things right which confirms their willingness to provide great products and service. Thumps up to Pitster!
A Note from Pitster Pro...
We set a standard in 2007 with the introduction of X4R that came equipped with the Italian built Marzocchi Shiver forks but that was not enough for us. After a year of riding and racing these bikes we’ve made a great bike even better with a new GPX Moto power plant, high volume oil cooler and race tuned suspension. The 2008 X4R now comes with a GPX Moto 160cc four stroke, equipped with a close ratio four speed transmission, Manual clutch and 26 mm carburetor. With the added power, we knew people would need more traction and better handling, so we choose new aggressive front tire and fine tuned the rear shock for even more adjustment to maximize control under the toughest of conditions. New for 2008 is our “Build a bike” option, We know how personal it is to get the right set up for each rider that is why we have added options like, Elka shocks, Big bore kits, ASV folding levers, FMF exhaust, handle bars, light kits and more.

I must say when I first saw the retail prices for the 08 series I was a little worried the bikes were overpriced from Pitster. I can now say that they are probably under priced. If it is one thing I'll say about Pitster is head hancho, Gary Goodwin, has his “you know what” together. Sure their bikes come out of China but if you were to uncrate one of their bikes you would never know it. I have been to China multiple times, helped companies improve and create new bikes, and built many custom bikes. I know crap when I see it and I know quality when I see it. Gary doesn't just build a bike; he builds these bikes to be race ready out of the crate. It is obvious that Pitster has it together. The 07 to 08 line up has so many improvements. When we took the boxes off the 08 line up to expose the bikes in the metal crates, we were blown away. These were the best packaged bikes I had ever seen! They were mounted up in such a way you could probably drop the crate off a 3 story building and nothing would happen to the bike. As we took the bikes out of the crates and started to assemble them me and my employees were just drooling over how each part on the Pitster bikes were so meticulously placed, color coded, etc. As one of my employees said it “these bikes were born for dirt”. As we uncrated the bikes there were so many things Pitster included in the box that shows they really do know what they are doing. A great little tool kit, tons of Pitster stickers ( you know everyone loves stickers ), and RED LOCK TIGHT!!!!!!!! Not that I think the Pitster bikes need the lock tight, but every bike should have its bolts gone over. If you don't want to get something crap and don't want to spend 8K on a BBR Bike, then Pitster is the way to go, end of story.
If it's one bike I love to talk about, it's the X4R!!! If there had to be a bike of the year award for pit bikes, I would nominate the X4R. Here's why…. 1. This bike engine is so upgradeable it's sick. The amount of power you can potentially get out of this engine will make your heart skip a beat! 2. Any bike you can get with optional Marzocchi front forks automatically deserves and award! 3. The handling of this bike from the way the suspension is setup to wheelbase to height, is just amazing. When you ride this bike it almost feels like you are driving a Lexus on 2 wheels with a Ferrari 355 Engine. No seriously.
The great thing about this bike is Killer was THE FIRST company to ever offer the Takegawa 178cc kit for the 150cc Engines. When Pitster announced they were offering it their bikes, we were ecstatic! Since we were already doing the mods, offering it for the Pitsters gave us a huge edge as a dealer. The Optional Elka Shocks for these bikes are great as well. This is truly the only pit bike on the market that comes out of the crate a fully race ready bike that can also have the options to come as a SUPER race ready bike.
