Engine: Hi-Sun Yamaha Cloned Engine puts out 471cc with all the power you need to climb mountains and outrun your buddies.  This SOHC 4 valve head puts out a 9.4:1 Compression Ratio and is Liquid, Oil, and Air Cooled w/ Fan providing maximum cooling in the Texas Heat. The Low/High engine option lets you really choose how you want to distribute the power of the engine. The low gives you a great bottom end that can really pull you up the mountain and the high lets you have that all out go when you want maximum speed and railing power. The front and rear Shaft drive is a great low maintenance system that delivers solid response and power all the time. The 3 way Differential Lock 4x4 System is superior to most units on the market today.

Carburetor: The 500 sports a PD 36MM Kinzo Carb and the 700 uses a PD 42mm Kinzo Carb. Both are oversized Carbs for each displacement to ensure you have all the Fuel and Air you need when riding. Nothing is more frustrating than bogging down on a trail or when you are climbing a hill. HiSun made sure you got the right Carb from the beginning.

Chassis: The Rhino Replica Steel Frame is just as light weight as the Yamaha while still providing maximum durability.
Suspension: Both the 500 and 700 give you 12 inches of ground clearance with their Front and Rear Double Independent Wishbone Suspension System providing for the best ride you could ask for.

Electrical: There is a 2,500 lbs Winch included on this Unit.  The battery is a maintenance free battery that is continually charged via the alternator.  The lights feature high and low beams while the indigo backlit digital display unit has the Speedometer, Tachometer, Odometer, Fuel Gauge, 4WD Status, transmission position, and clock.

Towing: The center mounted receiver  hitch can be fitted for towing up to 1500 lbs. This unit was fitted with strong suspension to with stand a bigger payload and heavier towing capacity while still providing a smooth ride.

For me to bring UTVs into my company and start selling them was a pretty…. Awkward… process. I knew we had been needing to get into the UTV side of the powersports business for years but no one ever could give me something that was impressive. Plus add to the fact that I personally drive a “pimped out” Yamaha 700 Rhino, the bar is set pretty high when I look at the “Chinese stuff”.  The whole process got kicked off last year when a guy from Two Brothers Performance came by my both at the Indy Show and introduced himself. I didn’t really pay attention because they were bringing in UTVs and I figured I had seen everything coming out of China. Finally around mid year of 08 I pulled his card out and found out his headquarters was about 30 minutes from my dealership, so I headed on over to check out there stuff. When I got there they had one of their 700cc UTVS waiting for me to take out for a spin. I looked over their UTV and asked if it was a modified Rhino since it looked almost identical to my personal Rhino. They said it was their 700 and I was honestly blown away. Their stock Rhino had features that were standard that I had to buy for my Rhino from Yamaha when I picked it up stock. Features like the center console, winch, roof, aluminum wheels, massive tires, etc. All the little things you don’t really think you need that become a necessity after a while.  I took it out and immediately took it straight to a ditch in the middle of the main road to see if the 4 wheel drive could get me out of the muck. Sure enough, the 4x4 lock did the trick and got me out. The guys were not so happy when I got back that they had a gross muddy test unit but I’m sure they didn’t care since I bought up some inventory from them that day.  The next day I had my entire staff show up early and help put one of the 700s together so I could take off to Rocky Ridge in Decatur, Tx. I took off around lunch on Friday and by the time I got back the next Monday I had put that UTV through HELL! Mostly what I wanted to see is if I could break anything, see what upgrades our customers would want, see how everything would hold up, and I must say the UTV came back a champ! Nothing broke, no overheating, 4x4 worked awesome, tranny was solid, everything held up well and I had a great time testing out the unit. The only thing I wish the units had would be fuel injection, but I guess I’m just spoiled with my Yamaha. The carbureted version did really well and I didn’t really see any downfall from not having the fuel injection. I would have to say I give the guys at HiSun a big thumps up for bringing over something that was truly different from all the other junk in the market. I can’t say I’ll trade in my Yamaha, but if I had to start over I would have probably got the HiSun 700 instead and saved the 4k I spent extra on my Yamaha. We’ve had the unit for about 6 months now and let customers test it at our track and so far so good!

Here is a quick rundown of what you can expect to assemble when you get your unit! Dirt Bikes / Pit Bikes - Typical installation include mounting up the handlebars, installing the rear shock, and mounting up the front tire. From time to time you might have to put on little things like the gas cap and foot pegs. The unit comes full with break in oil. ATVS / 4 Wheelers - Typical installation include mounting all 4 tires, mounting up the handlebars, and mounting up the luggage racks (if your unit comes with one). Sometimes you will have to install some small things like the gas cap, etc. The unit comes full with break in oil. Scooters / Mopeds - Depending on what unit you get, here are some things you might have to mount on the scooter, Battery, Mirrors, Rear Storage Box, Windshield, Front Tire. Typically all scooters come fully assembled and you only have to put on a couple small things to make it complete. The unit comes full with break in oil. Go Karts / UTVS - Typical installation will include mounting up the tires, putting the seats in, as well as the top roll cage bars, steering wheel, and a couple other small things.
