Takegawa was hard at work this year, and has improved on one of our best selling engine kits the R stage +D. We have seen more than a 10% hP improvement over the previous R stage kit. some of the improvements include:

Decompressor Camshaft
The new R stage camshaft has a decompressor mechanism much like modern MX 4 strokes, that allows for easy starting. Easier starting means less load on the transmission, and kick start shaft and a more reliable engine package.

Enhanced Cylinder head Design
internal shape of R stage +D exhaust ports have been enhanced and improved. Valve angles have also been changed to improve performance and help make room for the larger valves.

Titanium Valve spring Retainers
New on the R stage +D are lightweight titanium valve spring retainers.

This combo kit comes complete with the following:
• Aluminum Cylinder
• All New +D Cylinder Head
• Piston, Rings, Circlips and Wrist Pin
• Performance Roller Bearing Camshaft with New Cam Gear
• Complete Gasket kit
• Air Filter
• Aluminum High Flow Intake Manifold

• Intake Valve = 26mm
• Exhaust Valve = 22.5mm

• Compression Ratio 88cc kit =13.1:1
