110cc ATVs

The variety of All-terrain vehicles is over whelming but is a great source of recreation for all riders both kids and adults. When deciding on your offroad ATV quad it’s important to be sure you are selecting the proper model sport or utility and the proper engine cc size. The range of vehicles starts from 110cc all the way up to 700cc four-wheelers. One must also decide if they want to ride a sport or utility ATV. The average rider often selects a vehicle in the 110cc to the 250cc range as they have a wide range of uses including job site transportation, deer lease transportation, trail riding, hunting, racing, or just recreational use around the home, farm, and dirt track. The vehicles in this range are suitable for all of your common needs and many riders never find themselves moving into a bigger or more powerful ATVs unless they have a specific use in mind such as pulling utility trailers or extreme off-road riding through some of the most inhospitable back country they can find.

When trying to determine the engine power needs of your cheap kids ATV you first have to break down what you intend to use it for. Do you need a remote control start or are you looking for a kill switch as a parent? Do you need a throttle governor limiter? What size tire do you need? Are you looking for a fully automatic? These questions are all important when looking for your new ATV.

In addition, it’s important to think of the build for the type of ATV that you intend to purchase. This includes considering features like support/carrying bars and fiberglass construction. The utility is great from farm use, trail riding, hunting, hauling and working. When measured side-by-side, the racing quad with its lightweight design and advanced suspension is going to be considerably faster than the heavier and bulkier all around quad. That said, the all-around quad will be more durable and capable of doing additional tasks such as hauling and will often be more stable (on flat ground) than the racing quad. Make the determination as to what sort of riding you’ll be doing and find an appropriate ATV to do the job.
