The Apollo DB-99 125cc is a great pit bike for beginners to start with, who are already accustomed to manual transmission, or are looking to learn a manual clutch on a bike with a gentle learning curve. Its 125cc engine offers great acceleration and a high top speed of 45 MPH, but the acceleration isn’t as touchy as a bike with a higher acceleration, and has a great ride feel once gotten the hang of. Despite the lack of bells and whistles overall, it’s not lacking in excellent safety features, including front and rear disk brakes, and a very sturdy steel frame. For those looking for something of a stripped down bike to cut their teeth on, or for those looking for a bike to get a teenager or young adult, this is an excellent place to start.
